Senior Design Campaign: Indy Food Links
Overview
This project was the culmination of two semesters worth of work and research into a chosen topic. To start I looked at the biggest obstacles faced within Marion County, Indiana. The main focuses I had when creating my campaign was fixing issues with transportation, accessibility, communication, and access to support systems. From there I created an organization called Indy Food Links. This group would work to foster connections within the community, distribute resources to those who are in need and assist families in whatever way they need.

Problem Statement
Many low-income families living in food deserts encounter numerous barriers that make it challenging to access essential resources when food becomes scarce. The solution needs to be focused on addressing issues with transportation, accessibility, communication, and access to support systems.
“Food insecurity means lacking consistent access to enough nutritious food for a healthy life. It includes uncertainty about food availability, insufficient quality or quantity, and an inability to obtain preferred foods.”

Social Media
I designed these social media posts as a way for the organization to better connect with its community. Online platforms are one of the most effective ways to reach people, so each post is crafted to be both eye-catching and informative. This encourages viewers to visit the site to learn how they can help or where they can find support.
