The mailer brochure is designed to present detailed information in a compact, accessible format. A clean, simple text layout ensures readability and effectively highlights event details, including speaker profiles and activities. Decorative gold and purple weaving patterns frame the design, while the cover features a textile artwork by a renowned artist in the field.
This brochure was created as part of a school project, where we developed an event concept and designed its promotional material. The World of Textiles is a global gathering of textile artists, featuring three keynote speakers, workshops, and exhibitor booths. The event aims to provide attendees with insights into career opportunities while fostering inspiration and learning.
Process Work
When working through projects I always begin with sketching my design solutions. This allows me to try many options quickly and find the best path forward with my work. For this project I created the brochure through sketches first to understand how my layout would work and how I can implement my pattern into the brochure.
